"Perspective Under Pressure" | September 6, 2026 | Ps Christina Lowery
by Amber George on September 7th, 2026
Life is hard. That is not a maybe — it is a when. What happens to our perspective when life presses in from every side? How do we see clearly when the weight of trials distorts everything around us? In the middle of every trial, every temptation, and every season that feels unbearable, God is offering us something powerful: a perspective shift. Similar to stained glass, the same circumstances can look entirely different depending on which side we are standing on. From the outside, the glass appears dull and unremarkable. From the inside, it is breathtaking. We are called not to interpret God's character through our circumstances, but to interpret our circumstances through God's character. James reminds us that God never shifts, never casts a changing shadow, and that every good and perfect gift flows from him. When pressure mounts, this perspective is not automatic. It is something we must fight for. And the fight begins with understanding who we truly are: not defined by wealth or poverty, success or failure, but as the prized possession of a Father who chose us. Read More

"Living in the Overflow of God's Grace" | October 25, 2025 | Ps Joel Lowery
by Amber George on October 27th, 2025
What happens when everything we've built our identity upon gets stripped away? Explore the transformative nature of God's grace through the lens of John 1:16-18, where we encounter the profound phrase 'grace upon grace.' Using the vivid imagery of heaping scoops of ice cream piled high, we're invited to reimagine grace not as a single line we must carefully walk, but as an overwhelming, generous abundance that covers us completely. The message challenges us to understand that God's grace isn't the opposite of truth—they're two sides of the same coin, walking together in perfect harmony. We discover that grace accomplishes three essential things in our lives: it gives us freedom from condemnation and chains, it extends forgiveness that we desperately need daily (not just at salvation), and it guarantees God's presence even in our darkest valleys. The beauty of this grace is that we can never be too graceful with others, because we're not manufacturing it ourselves—we're simply stewarding what overflows from God's infinite supply. When we truly grasp how submerged we are in God's undeserved favor, we're freed to extend that same radical grace to others, becoming a community that breaks chains, forgives extravagantly, and makes room for God's transforming presence. "Undeserved Favor" | August 17, 2025 | Ps Joel Lowery
by Amber George on August 18th, 2025
In this powerful message, we're challenged to rethink our understanding of righteousness and God's grace. The Sermon on the Mount, particularly Matthew 5:17-48, serves as the cornerstone of this teaching. Jesus' words here aren't just about following rules; they're about recognizing our deep need for a Savior. We're reminded that trying to earn God's favor through our own efforts is futile. Instead, Jesus invites us into a new way of living - one where we join His 'yoke' and allow Him to carry our burdens. This beautiful metaphor illustrates how walking with Christ lightens our load, not because life becomes easier, but because we're no longer carrying it alone. The message encourages us to embrace God's unearned favor and live in the freedom it provides, breaking the power of condemnation over our lives. As we surrender to God's grace, we become living examples of His transformative power, pointing others to the incredible love and kindness of Christ. Read More

"The New Way" | August 3, 2025 | David Mills
by Amber George on August 4th, 2025
In this powerful exploration of the Beatitudes from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, we're invited to radically rethink what it means to be blessed. The Greek word often translated as 'blessed' actually points to a state of thriving or flourishing - not just in spite of difficult circumstances, but because of them. We're challenged to see how the poor in spirit, the mourners, the meek, and those hungering for righteousness are uniquely positioned to experience God's kingdom. This isn't just ancient wisdom; it's a blueprint for how we can live fully today. The message urges us to embrace humility, show mercy, pursue purity of heart, and become peacemakers. In doing so, we're not just following rules, but embodying the very character of God. As we align ourselves with these kingdom values, we may face persecution, but we're assured that even this can be a pathway to deeper connection with God. This teaching invites us to examine our hearts and ask: Where do we need God's comfort? Where can we show more mercy? How can we become agents of God's peace in a fractured world? Read More
