Most relationships don't fail because love disappears - they fail because they were built on only one or two legs instead of all four. When we build solely on passion, we leave when feelings fade. When we build only on friendship, we drift. When we build only on comfort, we stagnate. But when we build on Agape - the self-giving, cross-shaped love that mirrors Christ's love for the church - all the other loves flourish and find their proper place.
